The sixth “AIAG Auto Parts Purchasing Leadership and Suppliers Forum” was held on October 27, 2012 in Beijing China. The Theme is: Competitiveness in Challenging Environment. This year, the purchasing leadership from GM, ford, Fiat, Volvo, Bosch, Lear, Delphi, Magna and others talked about their sourcing strategy, needs and supply chain development to auto suppliers. This forum provided a great platform for auto OEMs, Tier 1 and sub tier suppliers to strengthen their mutual understanding and communication. In the forum, it also set up a new session “Automotive Supply Chain Data Network Connectivity in China”, introduced the latest connectivity technology and trend to auto parts suppliers in China.
